Open to students in grades 5-8.
Club leaders will meet students between Parrsboro Elementary and Highschool at dismissal time (2:40 pm) and as a group walk to the Fundy Geological Museum.
Pickup will be between 4:30-4:45 at the Fundy Geological Museum.
This club will meet monthly and focus on learning outdoor skills and exploring nature. A snack will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring a personal water bottle. The club is cancelled on days that school is closed or has early dismissal.
New members are welcome at any time!
Participants must be registered for each monthly after-school club date they are attending. A $5 donation at pickup, to go towards program costs would be appreciated, but is not required.

The Young Naturalists Club Cobequid Chapter is a volunteer-led group that organizes family-friendly outdoor events in partnership with the Fundy Geological Museum in Parrsboro, Nova Scotia. We offer activities that prioritize spending time outdoors learning about modern flora and fauna, our local environments, and the fossil record.
